Description
The Powerhobby 40mm Tornado High-Speed Cooling Fan provides increased airflow for compatible RC motors, electronic speed controls, heatsinks, and custom electronics installations.
Its T6 aluminum housing helps concentrate and direct airflow through the fan. The large aluminum surface also assists with heat dissipation while helping protect the fan blades from debris and accidental contact.
The fan measures 40 × 40 × 10mm and operates from 5V to 8.5V. At 8.5V, it delivers up to 16,000 RPM for dependable cooling in demanding RC applications.

Verify the mounting-hole spacing, available clearance, power-source voltage, and available current before installation.
Installation Note
Secure the fan with the included mounting hardware and confirm that the blades rotate freely. Keep the fan and wiring away from gears, driveshafts, motor shafts, suspension components, and other moving parts.
Connect the fan only to a regulated power source between 5V and 8.5V capable of supplying at least 0.65A. Do not exceed 8.5V.
The product page mentions compatibility with 2S HV LiPo systems up to 8.75V, but this conflicts with the listed 8.5V operating limit. Use a regulated BEC set at or below 8.5V rather than connecting the fan directly to a fully charged 2S HV battery.
