Description

The Powerhobby Aluminum Heatsink with Twin Turbo Cooling Fans is designed to help control motor temperatures in compatible 1/8-scale RC vehicles.

Its lightweight aluminum heatsink fits motors measuring approximately 40.8mm in diameter and 57.9mm in length. Two high-speed 30mm cooling fans provide strong airflow across the motor to help reduce heat during demanding driving conditions.

The fans can be mounted directly to the heatsink for a compact installation or installed with the included 10mm spacers to create additional space between the fans and motor for improved airflow.

Installation Note

The fans may be installed directly against the heatsink or raised using the included 10mm spacers. Select the correct screw length for the chosen configuration.

Secure the heatsink around a clean section of the motor can. Make sure the fans, screws, and wiring do not contact the motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, center driveshaft, or other moving components.

Power the fans from a compatible 6V source capable of supplying adequate current. Do not exceed the fans’ rated voltage unless a higher operating-voltage specification has been confirmed.
