Description
The Powerhobby Aluminum Motor Heatsink with Dual 40mm Cooling Fans is designed to help control motor temperatures in high-powered RC vehicles.
The aluminum motor mount fits compatible motors measuring 47–49mm in diameter. Two high-speed 40mm fans provide increased airflow across the motor, while the aluminum fan covers help protect the fan blades from debris and accidental contact.
Operating from 6V to 8.4V, each fan reaches up to 16,000 RPM at 8.4V. The included JST Y-splitter combines both fans into a receiver-style connector for connection to a compatible open receiver channel or external BEC.

Verify the motor diameter, available chassis clearance, fan voltage, connector compatibility, and mounting position before purchasing.
Installation Note
Secure the aluminum heatsink around a clean section of the motor can. Make sure the fans, covers, and wiring do not contact the motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, center driveshaft, or other moving components.
Connect the fans only to a compatible receiver port or external BEC supplying between 6V and 8.4V. Confirm that the power source can provide sufficient current to operate both fans. Do not exceed 8.4V.
