Description
The Traxxas 5868A is a pair of SCT chrome wheels with a blue beadlock-style ring, supplied as wheels only without tires or inserts. It is the same wheel as the 5868 but with the blue ring rather than red, so check the part number when matching an existing set.
Order these when the tread on your tires is still good but a rim has cracked, chipped at the bead, or been gouged past the point of holding glue. A rim that has lost its bead edge will let the tire creep under load no matter how carefully it is re-glued, so replacing the wheel and reusing sound rubber is the economical repair.
Sizing is the short course dual-profile standard, 2.2 inches at the outer bead and 3.0 inches inside. This geometry is specific to short course and does not interchange with standard 2.2 or 3.0 inch wheels. The beadlock ring is molded styling, not functional hardware.
Fitment is 4WD front and rear, or 2WD rear only. For the 2WD front position, use the narrower 5870A instead.
Fits: Traxxas Slash 4X4 front/rear, Slash 2WD and Slash VXL rear.
