Description
The Traxxas 5867A is a pair of assembled and pre-glued tire and wheel units, combining an SCT chrome wheel with a blue beadlock-style ring, licensed BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires and foam inserts. They ship mounted and glued, ready to run.
The KM2 is a scale reproduction of the full-size BFGoodrich light-truck tire, carrying the aggressive staggered lugs and reinforced sidewall shoulder of the original. That pattern digs well into loose dirt, gravel and mud while remaining predictable on hardpack, which makes it a strong all-round choice for a truck that sees varied ground rather than a groomed track.
The wheels use short course dual-profile sizing, 2.2 inches at the outer bead and 3.0 inches inside, which is what gives short course tires their wide footprint. The beadlock ring is molded styling rather than functional hardware, so there is nothing to bolt together.
Fitment is 4WD front and rear, or 2WD rear only. Note that the 2WD front wheel is a different, narrower part.
Fits: Traxxas Slash 4X4 front/rear, Slash 2WD and Slash VXL rear.
Includes: two assembled tire and wheel units with foam inserts.
