This is an RPM ESC Cage in Black for the Traxxas TRA3355R VXL-3S ESC. RPM has had numerous requests for an ESC Cage for the TRA3355R version of the Traxxas VXL-3S ESC since the mounting tabs have been reported as weak. Why risk potential damage to your $220 (SRP) speed control when the RPM option is an inexpensive piece of insurance that will prevent those tabs from ever being a problem?
RPM's solution is a simple, yet strong and effective one. RPM eliminated the use of the two mounting tabs on the ESC in favor of a complete cage system that solidly locks the ESC in place using RPM indestructible nylons. RPM's ESC Cage is the most effective, durable and best protection for your speed control possible. By completely surrounding and capturing the VXL-3S ESC, damage from broken tabs and ejection from the vehicle has been completely eliminated.
The RPM VXL-3S ESC Cage works perfectly even if one or both mounting tabs on the ESC have already been broken or cut off! Now there’s no reason to rely on unpredictable adhesives or zip ties to retain your speed controller when our ESC Cage will lock it in place with 100% confidence each and every time!
