Description
This brake cable barrel hardware kit is a direct factory replacement for the Losi Promoto-MX and Promoto-SM 1/4-scale RC motorcycle platforms, restoring the brake cable connection point on the rear brake assembly. The kit provides the small hardware needed to secure and adjust the brake cable at the barrel end, a wear item that can strip or loosen after repeated brake adjustments or a hard crash. Made to the same specification as the original equipment, the barrels and set screws thread and seat exactly like the factory parts, so installation uses the stock mounting location without any modification to the chassis or brake linkage. As a genuine OEM replacement rather than a performance upgrade, this kit is intended to restore correct brake cable tension and function rather than change braking performance. Keeping a spare set on hand is useful since these are small parts that are easy to lose during maintenance or after a crash. The package includes three brake cable barrels and six set screws, enough hardware to service the rear brake cable multiple times or keep spares ready for future tuning and repairs on the Promoto-MX/SM platform.
