This lightweight aluminum center driveshaft is a performance upgrade for Losi NASCAR GROM 1/12-scale race vehicles, replacing the stock steel unit with a CNC-machined shaft cut from 6061-T6 aluminum. Precision machining keeps the shaft running true with minimal vibration through the drivetrain, translating into smoother power delivery and reduced wear on connected components. Because it is substantially lighter than the factory steel driveshaft, swapping it in reduces overall drivetrain mass, which sharpens acceleration and throttle response on the short, fast ovals GROM racers typically run. The 203.5mm length is matched specifically to the GROM chassis, so it installs without modification to the transmission or axle assemblies. Aluminum construction also resists the flex and fatigue that steel shafts can develop under repeated hard launches, giving racers a durability edge over long racing sessions. This is a performance component rather than a stock replacement part, aimed at drivers looking to shave rotating weight and fine-tune acceleration. One center driveshaft is included per package, ready to install using the factory hardware already on the vehicle.
