This Axial Axle Housing, Rear is a direct-fit replacement rear housing for the AF16P portal axles on the AXP8 Gilamon 2.2, containing and protecting the internal gears and driveline components of the rear axle. It's the correct option for repairing a cracked or damaged axle housing rather than replacing the entire axle assembly.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the AF16P portal axle design, it's a direct-fit replacement that matches the factory housing dimensions and mounting points exactly, so reassembly is straightforward using the axle's existing internal components. It's a common repair after a hard impact that cracks or damages the housing without necessarily harming the gears inside.
This is a functional repair part rather than a performance upgrade, intended for Gilamon owners doing rear axle maintenance or repairing housing damage from a hard crash. One rear axle housing is included per package.
