Reviews
I had purchased the other versions of these terrain sets from Surpass Hobby but really wanted this one for my collection - because suspension bridges are just cool. Surpass Hobby didn't offer it, but Power Hobby came through on the product supply. These days availability is king in the R/C world.
For these birch plywood sets I usually use Gorilla wood glue to glue them together and then reinforce with the supplied hardware if needed. It typically isn't. But do make sure you have some painters tape around to hold the pieces in places temporarily to allow the glue to set up. I usually start with one big side, attach all the pieces and let that set up. Then I glue the other ends and pop the other side on and use some 1-pound weights to apply pressure while it sets up. The result is a strong terrain element, certainly strong enough for small scale crawlers.
These are especially great if you can only have a temporary course due to space constraints. You can hang them on a wall when not in use and bring them out when you have time for a session with your friends or crawler club.
I never received my order, I can not reviewed it , the tracking number said that: pre-shipment info sent to USPS awaits item.
